Growing manufacturing company seeking Production Associates to assist the Line Operator and Top Production Associate in producing a top quality plastic film in a safe and efficient manner.

The Production Associate must be able to read and understand instructions and make continuous improvements in their knowledge of the manufacturing processes and products. The Production Associate must be flexible and willing to work on any machine assigned by the Team or Manpower leader.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Learn how an extrusion press or flexographic printing press works
• Learn and master our packaging procedures
• Learn and understand all safety work practices
• Know the difference between acceptable and non-conforming products
• Make a continuous effort to reduce the production of scrap
• Learn procedures for flush outs and change over
• Must keep the work area clean
• Must be able to follow instructions from the Line Operator or Top Production Associate 
• Must be a Team Player

Essential Functions:

• Must work 12-hour shifts 
• Must work for 3 months on days shift and rotate to night shift for 3 months
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent daily basis
• Must wear personal protective equipment furnished by the Company
• Climb stairs and stand for extended time

Other Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of computers
• Able to drive a forklift (will train if needed)
