Drafter

Located in Russellville, AR

Salary: $18 + DOE

A local manufacturing company needs a Drafter / Detailer!

Duties would include but not limited to the following:

• review cross-sectional drawings from the Sales Department, 
• reviews shapes to determine extrudability, 
• calculates cross sectional areas & establishes weight per feet,
• maintains close communications with the Sales Department, 
• assist in developing necessary info for quoting & maintaining records of dies & press tooling, 
• communicates with the engineering staff about potential customers' design requirements. 

Requirements:

• Candidate must have an associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3-4 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High Proficiency in CAD, CATIA, or Unigraphics software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence & procedure manuals, ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers & the general public.
• Candidate must have strong mathematical skills and reasoning ability.
