Job Title: Mechanical Installer

Overview: The Mechanical Installer is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. This role involves working with various types of machinery, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components, ensuring proper installation, function, and safety. Mechanical Installers often collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment, including HVAC units, ductwork, conveyors, piping, and other mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure equipment following manufacturer instructions and industry standards.
• Test installed equipment to ensure functionality and troubleshoot any issues during installation.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure long-term reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Complete any necessary documentation related to installations, including work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Installer or similar role.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, HVAC systems, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical installation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
