CNC Lathe and Mill Machinist Operator

Seeking a skilled machinist to operate and program CNC Lathe and mills for a leading aerospace manufacturing company near the airport. Looking for a candidate that is comfortable building programs; as well as operating.

Job duties:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce aerospace components according to exact specifications.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Program CNC lathes  and mills using G-code or other CNC programming languages.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC lathe and mills equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC lathe and mill operator, preferably within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and operation of lathe machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and quality assurance procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical certification in CNC machining is preferred but not required.
