Our client is seeking an Experienced or Entry Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, identify root cause of problems and perform needed repair on malfunctioning equipment with the ability to assist with building maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated. This position offers the opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

 

• Troubleshoot to determine root cause of equipment failure and perform corrective repairs
•  Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
• Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns components of machinery and equipment.
• Welding ability to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment
• Records repairs and maintenance performed in maintenance ticket system.
• Special Projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

• Previous Mechanical Assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as electrical and pneumatic schematics and mechanical blue prints, safety instructions, and operating manuals.
• High School/Trade School Diploma or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, lathe and mills.
