Express is currently recruiting for an Systems Administrator for a local IT company. This is a Full-time, evaluation to hire position with some travel.  This is not a remote position. 

 

The pay is $26- $30 hour

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Install networks and systems.
  • Service networks and systems.
  • Respond to requests from customers for technical assistance and support.
  • Load and configure network and system software and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and repair network and system hardware and software problems.
  • Complete work order documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, and spare parts in good working order.
  • Provide technical input during bid preparation.
  • Participate in pre-job bid meetings as requested.
  • Interface with customers to identify needs, concerns, and to recommend solutions.
  • Provide technical solutions using all available resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings.
  • Provide input to business operations and planning.
  • Assist in the selection and development of service staff.
  • Support business operations as requested and as needed.
  • Participate in safety and quality control meetings.
  • Add/Update Client documentation in PSA.
  • Maintain technical competency.

 

Skills and Qualities Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work with deadlines
  • Excellent customer services and professionalism
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
  • Problem solving skills and self-motivated
  • Must have 3 years of IT experience in a job.
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • May be fingerprinted for certain jobs/ clients
  • Possess or acquire COMP TIA A+ certification within 6 months of assignment
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to perform onsite work that can be over 1 hr. away drive time.
