Salary: $22/hr

We are actively searching for a Machine Operator for an established manufacturing company in Leominster, MA. This position is responsible for operating complex production machines and checking for discrepancies in machines or material.

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Sets up, operates, monitors, and maintains varied production equipment and other auxiliary equipment
• Evaluates products/processes and makes necessary adjustments to process to optimize quality and output
• Performs line clearance activities to maintain product integrity
• Assist in monitoring and executing other department manufacturing processes and train other employees as required
• Completes all required paperwork such as log sheets, labor sheets, work order tags and quality records as directed
• Monitors material and supply levels and communicates the need to re-order as required in anticipation of future operations
• Balances inventory and returns unused materials upon completion of each work order
• Cleans and organizes work area to maximize effectiveness and minimize potential safety hazard

Position Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of previous manufacturing experience required
• Wire & cable braiding experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Knowledge of current OSHA safety rules and regulations

The work hours will be Mon-Fri, 2:45PM – 10:45PM. The pay rate is $22/hr.
