Office Specialist / Inside Sales

Express is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office Specialist / Inside Sales Representative to join the family of a local Distribution Center in Salem. In this hybrid role, you will manage various office tasks while driving sales growth by managing customer relationships, processing orders, and providing excellent service. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for sales, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

 

Shift: 

• 7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday (Hours are flexible)

Pay Range:

• $20 - $25 / HR Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Inside Sales:
  • Engage with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person to understand their needs and recommend products or services.
  • LOTS of computer work and emailing between vendors.
  • Processing and order entry
  • Invoicing
  • Follow up on leads, process sales orders, and close deals effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts to monitor performance and sales targets.
• Office Support:
  • Manage and organize office files, documents, and correspondence.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory, and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing calendars for office staff.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and contribute to an organized and efficient workspace.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in office administration, sales, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Sales-driven mindset with a passion for meeting and exceeding goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inside sales or customer service.
• Familiarity with industry-related products and services [Distribution].
• Experience with inventory management or order processing software is a plus.
