Salary: $18-$22/hr
Key Responsibilities:
-Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repair solutions-Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections-Repair and replace vehicle parts, including engines, transmissions, and other major components-Test vehicles after repairs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards-Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used-Communicate with customers about vehicle issues, repairs, and maintenance needs-Maintain a clean and organized work area-Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
-Clean MVR -Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role-In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and repair techniques-Certification from a recognized automotive training program is a plus-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team-Excellent customer service and communication skills-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment-Comfortable working in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)-Tolerance to work in potentially noisy or dusty environments
