Parking Lot Checker

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and attentive Parking Lot Checker to ensure compliance with parking regulations in our facility. The ideal candidate will maintain order in the parking area, assist customers, and enforce parking rules.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned parking areas on foot or in a vehicle

• Check vehicles for valid parking permits or payments

• Issue citations for parking violations

• Assist customers with parking-related inquiries and directions

• Maintain accurate records of citations and incidents

• Report any suspicious activities or safety concerns

• Ensure parking equipment is functioning properly

• Assist with basic lot maintenance, such as removing litter

• Coordinate with management on recurring issues or special events

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to work in various weather conditions

• Physical ability to walk or stand for extended periods

• Basic math and writing skills for record-keeping

• Customer service experience preferred

 

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to remain calm in confrontational situations

• Basic computer skills for data entry

• Time management and organizational abilities

 

Work Schedule:

• May include evenings, weekends, and holidays
