Are you passionate about environmental issues, particularly water safety? Do you thrive in a dynamic, growing organization with a collaborative, volunteer-driven atmosphere? If so, the Water Coalition invites you to join us as our part-time Administrator/Project Manager!  

Hours: 14.5 hours per week 

Pay: $25 - $27 per hour  

The West Plains Water Coalition is a young and rapidly growing non-profit organization (501c3) focused on addressing the national PFAS crisis with a local focus on West Plains. The organization is moving towards state and national recognition, prompting the need for a proactive and creative individual to help coordinate public events, manage communications, and support our all-volunteer leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and provide support for committee chairs and volunteers.
  • Welcome and orient new members, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of 10-12 public events annually.
  • Maintain the event and meeting schedule.
  • Manage communications across various platforms, ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Oversee funder compliance as outlined in our Project-Specific Budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our extensive network of partners and agencies.

  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You’ll handle complex topics and detailed record-keeping with ease.
  • Collaborative & Creative Problem Solver: Flexibility and creativity are essential to managing multiple tasks and collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Self-Motivated & Independent: You can take initiative and work autonomously while staying aligned with the organization’s values.
  • Communication Skills: Public speaking and writing come naturally to you, and you’re proficient in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Teams.
  • Relationship Builder: You have a servant leadership mindset and can build trust and rapport with volunteers, partners, and community members.
