Express Employment Professionals is looking for a CNC Sander/Router Supervisor to work in McKinney.  ALPHACAM proficiency highly desired for this role. This is Temp to Hire

 

JOB SUMMARY

The CNC/Sander -Router Supervisor will be responsible for the overall operating performance of a specific shift. This position will work collaboratively with the Production Manager to execute production schedules with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. Ensure increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines. This position will manage a work environment on one shift with numerous production changes and daily order fulfillment schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

              Proficient with ALPHACAM programming software

              High School Diploma or Equivalent

              A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field of supervision is required with knowledge of manufacturing, production scheduling and shop operations preferred.

              Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.

              Organized with strong time management skills.

              Bilingual (Spanish- English) is a plus.

              Assures 5S standards are sustained.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

              While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear, may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

              This role stands for approximately 8-10 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion.

              Must be able to use basic power tools such as drills and angle grinder.

              Must also be able to follow rules for personal protection consisting of safety glasses (face shield, as needed), ear buds, high visual shirt/vest, gloves, and safety toe shoes/boots

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold and loud noise levels.

a.            Usage of tools or equipment (on site)

b.            Usage of spec sheets

c.            Usage of reporting documents (every hour instead of at the end of the shift)

On the floor

5.            Make sure CNC lines and the sander/ routers are non-stop running and making good quality flanges

a.            At CNC’s

i.             Matches all specs on spec sheet

ii.            Route depth is correct

iii.           There are no nails or staples left on the wood

iv.           Go-No go gauge is used to check arbor holes

v.             Pallets are identified with proper material ID and quantity

b.            At Sanders/Router

i.             Quality meets expectations

ii.            Pallets are identified with proper material ID and quantity

6.            Material is organized and located correctly at its location
