Job Title: Punch Press Operator

 

Location: Phoenix, AZ

 

We are currently seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our team. As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press machines to produce high-quality metal parts and components.

 

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate punch press machines according to job specifications
• Load metal sheets or coils onto the machine
• Align and position the material accurately for punching
• Operate the punch press machine to cut, punch, or form metal parts
• Monitor the machine operation and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Punch Press Operator or similar role
• Knowledge of punch press machine operation and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job orders
• Familiarity with different types of punches and dies
• Good understanding of metalworking processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
