Job Overview:

The Outside Relationship Builder will play a crucial role in fostering and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients, automotive dealers, and industry stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for expanding our network, enhancing client satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for the automotive industry and a proven track record in relationship management and business development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and reach out to potential clients and dealerships to introduce our auction services, build rapport, and convert prospects into active clients.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current clients and industry partners, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and local business gatherings to build and strengthen our network of contacts in the automotive industry.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and provide insights to the management team.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay client feedback to internal teams to help improve our services and address any issues or concerns.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and execute outreach campaigns, promotional activities, and client engagement initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and outcomes, and provide regular reports to management on relationship-building activities and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management, preferably within the automotive or auction industry.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the automotive auction industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically.
