A concrete form setter is responsible for:

1. Installing and aligning forms for concrete structures

2. Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications

3. Measuring and marking areas for form placement

4. Cutting, assembling, and securing forms using various tools

5. Ensuring proper form placement for level and plumb concrete pours

6. Applying release agents to forms for easy removal

7. Stripping forms after concrete has cured

8. Cleaning and maintaining forms and equipment

9. Following safety protocols and wearing proper protective gear

10. Collaborating with other construction team members

 

Required skills typically include:

- Physical strength and stamina

- Basic math skills
