Job Description: Structural Welder/Fabricator
Location: Redmond, OR

- Competitive salary: $25.00 per hour (Higher salary D.O.E.)

Work Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday (4-10's) with 3 days off per week
Position Overview: We are not just looking for someone who knows how to weld; we are seeking well-rounded fabricators who excel in both welding and fabrication. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.

- Have strong layout skills
- Be experienced and proficient in fitting and welding structural steel, stairs, and handrails per shop drawings and within tolerances
- Operate a forklift proficiently
- Have working knowledge of shop equipment and tools (iron workers, band saws, drill presses, grinders, etc.)
- Be knowledgeable of D1.1 & D1.8 welding codes, heat straightening, and general metallurgy
- Understand and execute CJP & PJP prep, fit-up, and completion per D1.1 & D1.8
- Comply with AESS requirements
- Read and understand shop drawings and AWS weld symbols accurately
- Place and complete welds according to AWS weld symbols
- Cut steel cleanly and accurately with an acetylene torch
Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of structural welding experience (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a welding shop (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of construction experience (Preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience (Preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (Preferred)
- References are required for this position
