RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Trouble shoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC''s.
• Performs pipefitting layout and installation including repairs to existing equipment.
• Makes electrical installation, repair, and troubleshooting of motors, instrumentation, and/or controls.
• Performs rigging work including installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment.
• Completes carpentry and masonry tasks as required
• Maintains compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), plant and departmental procedures and guidelines
• Set- up, adjust and maintain equipment with responsibility for production and quality on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems on equipment.
• Experience with production schedules and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new sizes or performs scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain Hazardous waste requirements for a (LQG) large quantity generator
• Maintain the wastewater system requirements including daily PM’s, monitoring and reporting requirement
• Coordinate with contractors as required for daily, weekly and special projects.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping.
• Use maintenance software for all work orders and preventative maintenance. There is no supervisory responsibility for this position.
