Position Summary

 

This serves as confidential Administrative/Human Resources (HR) Clerk to management and staff. Responsibilities include providing administration support of the day-to-day operations for HR reporting and routine administrative office duties. Duties include general clerical, receptionist, and program-specific work. This position will convey a professional company image through in-person and phone interactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  •                 Conducts new hire orientations and on-boarding.
  •                 Coordinates with payroll, IT, and other departments during hiring process.
  •                 Procures and performs inventory of office supplies.
  •                 Maintains personnel files and other project files.
  •                 Administers various benefit programs.
  •                 Processes termination and off-boarding paper work.
  •                 Provides administrative support to Program Manager and other staff.
  •                 Provides written correspondence, maintains management calendar, performs telephone screening, and returns calls (as directed).
  •                 Coordinates travel arrangements for management, as required.
  •                 Maintains accurate working files (electronic and hardcopy).   Other tasks or projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

  •                 High school diploma or GED Certificate required.
  •                 Previous administrative assistant experience required.
  •                 High level of professional integrity and ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
  •                 Professional demeanor and works well with others.
  •                 Well organized with the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
  •                 Excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  •                 Dependable and self-directed and able to adapt to changing work environment.
  •                 Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to operational excellence.
  •                 Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  •                 Must be able to sit for long periods of time and be able to lift small boxes of 40 pounds
