Food Processing Company located at Western Ave. is hiring general labors. 

 

SUMMARY

 

The labor position is responsible support for the overall functioning of the pack room.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

 

• Pack finished food product into boxes
• Properly load packed boxes onto portable food racks
• Weigh product once packed into boxes
• Ensure food labels are properly attached to assembled boxes
• Keep area free from clutter
• Sweep and squeegee water off floor
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines
• Perform other related duties as required

 

 

WORK SKILLS

 

• Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions from management
• Able to work flexible hours as required

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions
• Stand on the hard-surfaced and wet floor for the entire shift
• Ability to lift 20 lbs

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

 

• Occasional exposure to 80+ degree temperatures

 

EXPERIENCE

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

 

Regular schedule: Monday to Saturday 3 pm to finish

 

Pay rate of $16
