The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for a Johnson County distribution company!

Job Summary/Company Information: 

• Duties will include tracking and reporting daily ocean freight shipments
• Preparing and distributing shipping documents to customs broker, etc.
• Coordinating with forwarders, truckers, and third-party logistics for timely delivery
• Disputing charges with steamship lines and/or forwarders
• Reviewing and approving carrier invoices
• Accurate data entry to maintain logistics records and reports
• Navigating search engines for accurate up-to-date details for inbound container tracking

Pay/Benefits:

• Monday-Friday schedule 8a-5p
• $21/hr
• Evaluation to hire opportunity

Requirements:

• Recent logistics experience required; experience with ocean freight preferred.
• Basic accounting knowledge 
• Advanced Microsoft Office computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High attention to detail
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to flex based on urgency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze, investigate, and problem solve
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
