Come work with a great local manufacturing company seeking a highly motivated individual to add to their Composites team as a Manufacturing Technician at their Winchester Facility.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Processes foam to exact dimensions.
Sandblasts and applies gelcoat consistently and with great attention to detail.
Places vents, injectors, manifolds, bagging material, and pleats in proper locations.
Sets up and measures materials for infusion and operates vacuum equipment.
Applies cleaner, sealer, release agents, and RTV (room-temperature-vulcanizing silicone) to infusion molds in proper manner.
Understands and complies with confined space requirements.
Familiar with all aspects of proper fiberglass lay-up procedures.
Assembles fiberglass and PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) components in exact locations using epoxies, glues, and resins.
Demonstrates knowledge of correct fiberglass types for each application.
Understands how resin moves through various substrates based on different conditions such as heat, catalyst percentage, etc.
Uses sheeter and scissors to cut fiberglass to proper dimensions.
Full Time and Long-Term Opportunities Available
Monday-Friday
Day Shift: 4:30am-1:00pm (may include overtime and sometimes mandatory overtime for a limited time on special projects)
$18.00/Hr
