• Pay Rate: $16.00-17.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift

Hand Packer Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a Hand Packer to join our client, a manufacturer of flexible packaging and resealable bags. As a Hand Packer, you will play a crucial role in our client’s production process by carefully checking and packing finished products. Your responsibilities will include quality checking finished products, ensuring proper measurements, count, and seal, as well as packing products according to specifications, making sure they are ready for shipment and distribution.

 

Hand Packer Responsibilities:

• Examine and inspect products to ensure quality is met
• Measure and count finished products
• Pack products into boxes/crates in specified quantities
• Remove defective products and place them in designated areas
• Collaborate with machine operators to document and track production issues, waste, and delays

Hand Packer Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, packaging preferred
• Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Mathematical skills (basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
