Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Execute routine preventive maintenance programs to prolong the lifespan of machinery and reduce unexpected outages.

• Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures and conduct repairs as necessary to ensure equipment runs efficiently.

• Equipment Installation: Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment, ensuring all systems are operational and meet safety standards.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks performed, including repairs, inspections, and parts used, contributing to inventory management and compliance documentation.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety practices, protocols, and regulatory guidelines in a manufacturing environment, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and respond quickly to equipment malfunctions, ensuring communication is clear and consistent.

• Training: Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians or operators to enhance their skills and knowledge in maintenance practices.

• Equipment Monitoring: Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to monitor equipment and identify potential issues before they result in significant downtime.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, PLCs, and manufacturing equipment.
• Proficient in using a variety of hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working in variable environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.

Schedule: Mon-Fri/8 AM to 5PM + needed overtime
