Express Employment Professionals of Ottawa is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find great people. We are currently seeking several yard harvest workers for North Mendota, IL. 

 

Schedule:

• Hours of operation will range from 6:00 am – 7:00 pm and are subject to change
• Overtime and weekends may be required

Responsibilities:

Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:

 

• Responsible for opening/closing hoppers on truck trailers to unload grain
• Opening/closing gates to load trucks with grain
• Maintaining cleanliness of plant which could include but not limited to sweeping, shoveling, mowing and pressure washing
• Actual responsibilities will vary depending on daily needs and type of facility
• Provides professional manner with employees and customers

Qualifications: 

• Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary
• Ability to lift 50 – 70 lbs
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work extended hours, weekend, holidays and/or alternate shifts as needed and be on-call as business conditions warrant
