Express Employment is looking for Sign Technician. This position will eventually transition to a Management position.

Work Hours: 8 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Pay: $25-35/hr (DOE)

Work Location: Chico, CA

Job Description:

• Follow and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Create and design signage layouts for various applications, both indoor and outdoor.
• Set up and position signs.
• Prepare, paint, and mend surfaces for signage.
• Assemble scaffolding, ladders, and both portable and fixed staging, along with various rigging, to access challenging areas for sign installation.
• Travel to client locations to install signage.
• Print files from our sign software using the correct resolution and equipment as specified on our job ticket with HP Latex Printer and HP Flatbed Printer.
• Operate Colex Flatbed cutter, Graphtec Plotter, Seal Laminator
• Apply vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates, including various board stocks, aluminum, vehicles etc.
• Prioritizing production schedules to meet deadlines. Interaction with production personnel to meet quality standards.
• Other duties assigned

Requirements: 

• 5 years of experience
• Valid driver license
• High School or GED equivalent
• Capability to perform calculations, take measurements, and proportionally scale projects.
• Skill in addressing typical inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business community members.
• Skill in identifying problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing accurate conclusions. Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of technical instructions, whether in mathematical or diagrammatic form, and handling multiple abstract and concrete variables.
