Salary: $16.50 - $18.15

Our client is the manufacturer of BRASS COMPONENTS FOR THE PIPE, VALVE and FITTING INDUSTRIES located in Richmond Heights looking for CUTTING/ROLL MARKING OPERATORS.

 

SHIFT/PAY:

• Mon-Fri.  1st and 2nd shifts
• $16.50 - $18.15 Depending on Shift
• This job is located inRichmond Heights

Salary: $16.50 - $18.15 DOE and shift 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 • Complete setup and operate all pipe cutters and roll marking equipment, as directed through procedures and by operations supervisor

• Operate in a safe manner in accordance to Merit Brass safety policies and procedures

• Interpret information on cutting paperwork • Verify material to be cut (alloy, schedule, and diameter)

• Set-up cutter according to cutting procedures

• Verify test piece for correct length and quality of cut

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills, including data entry
• Ability to use andrread scale/ruler
• High school/GED
