Job Description

Set-up and run product routed through any one of the following work centers using appropriate material, methods, and procedures: AW, MF, OW, PRE, STD, SWA, SWB, DBR, TPA, TPB

 

Typical aspects of this job include but are not limited to the following:

1. Locates parts and supplies needed to complete job.
2. Sets up equipment and machines.
3. Complete a part and complete first part inspection.
4. Periodically check parts for compliance to standards.
5. Change equipment as needed.
6. Follow required safety procedures with equipment.
7. Keeps equipment stored properly.
8. Count parts and record as appropriate
9. Deliver product as needed to new location, recording location as appropriate

•  Report to designated supervisor for day''s assignments.
•  Fills out all time sheets or enter into computer completely and accurately all required information for labor done and all material, components, and product moved.
•  Observes all personal and equipment safety rules.
•  Reports any problems to supervisor.
•  Reports to supervisor at completion of each assignment for new assignment.
•  Keeps work area clean.
•  Maintains appropriate quality level for all work by checking material and/or product for obvious defects before starting a job, checking quality of work during the job, checking quality upon finishing the job, and notifying a lead person or supervisor anytime a quality issue arises. (Further information on quality for this job may be included in number 1.)
•  Assist, as required, in training people new to position in duties that are part of the job.
