Express Employment is looking for a Yard Manager. This position requires 3-5 years of current experience. This position oversees a crew of 2-6 depending on the auction cycle and is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly equipment lineup. 

Pay: $27 - $30/Hour

Location: Chico, Ca

Work Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Essential Functions:
•    Overseeing and ensuring a smooth auction process, in addition to the tasks listed below daily.
•    Serve as a communication bridge between the yard and office.
•    Manage inventory effectively.
•    Able to implement and understand systems to conduct auctions effectively.
•    Provide outstanding customer service.
•    Ensure safe and efficient loadout operations.
•    Implement safety programs and conduct training.
•    Responsible for receiving and unloading equipment for auctions.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements:
•    Handling multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
•    Effective time management and clear communication skills.
•    Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using self-motivation to complete tasks.
•    Highly organized and self-driven.
•    Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
•    Background in agriculture (preferred but not required).
•    Familiarity with equipment (preferred but not required).
•    Mechanical aptitude (preferred but not required).
