Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bilingual Spanish Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in income tax preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. This role involves managing client accounts, preparing tax returns, and providing financial advice to our Spanish-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Spanish to explain tax-related concepts and processes.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting preparing 1040, schedules C, D, E, self employment, partnerships and corporations
Fluent in English and Spanish
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

This is a direct hire position, $50,000 to $65,000 depending on experience

Benefits after 1 year of employment (health insurance, 7 paid holidays, 1 week vacation, 1 week sick pay)

M-F from 9am to 5pm. During tax season, overtime and weekend work is mandated
