Job Title: Assistant Customer Service Manager Salary: BOEShift: Full-Time, 38 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:00A-5:00P, Saturdays 8:00A-Noon Job Summary: The Assistant Customer Service Manager supervises and coordinates the activities of the Customer Service staff, serving as a "working manager." This role involves setting a proper example through a proactive attitude in handling customer calls, making cross-selling presentations, and addressing customer complaints. The Assistant Customer Service Manager also serves as a backup to the Customer Service Supervisor. Responsibilities: Field all telephone calls and address customer inquiries without transferring. Respond to customer questions and requests for account and product information professionally, identifying cross-selling opportunities. Troubleshoot and address feedback regarding the Bank's automated banking services, including processing incoming account applications. Manage the day-to-day operations of the customer service staff to foster strong customer relationships and bank growth. Provide feedback and ensure staff is properly trained to deliver exceptional customer experiences via telephone, chat, and email. Assist in developing strategies to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bank operations, products, and services. Adhere to bank audit and compliance policies and procedures. Requirements: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Broad knowledge of the products and services offered by the bank. Solid understanding of bank-wide regulations and thorough knowledge of relevant laws. Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Capable of dealing with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
