A local Springfield Township company is searching for a Manual Mill Machinist who will have core responsibilities in making machine parts using manual mills to tolerances, perform quality control checks to ensure parts are machined correctly and creating final inspection report. This fast-paced manufacturing environment is growing and is looking to hire a team-oriented Manual Machinist who will help grow the company to a new level of production. The Manual Machinist works independently and as part of a team, at times with limited supervision.

 

This is a first shift position Monday-Friday 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM with overtime as needed. Benefits after the 90-day contract period include:

Our client has a state-of-the-art facility and is very proud of the tenure of their team. The ideal candidate will have been in their last position over 2 years or longer.

 

 

What we look for:

• 3-5 or more years of experience of Manual Machinist preferably in a job shop environment.
• Experience using Giddings & Lewis manual horizontal boring mill preferred
• Ability to program/modify programs
• Safely and accurately operate equipment as assigned
• Ability to read measuring tools, perform machine set up
