Front of House Manager Duties/Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate front of house operations, including hosting, waiting, and bar staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently provided to all guests.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and dining room flow to optimize the guest experience.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front of house staff, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies to maintain service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and service.
  • Implement and uphold restaurant policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and promotions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house areas.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
