Job Title: Intake Clerk

Are you experienced in a medical office setting and passionate about helping others? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Intake Clerk! In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for consumers and visitors, ensuring a warm, professional experience while supporting important office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors and consumers in a friendly and courteous manner
• Verify appointments and direct individuals to their proper destinations
• Answer phone calls, provide information, and take messages
• Schedule appointments and assist with intake paperwork
• Receive payments and issue receipts for services
• Handle and route incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain confidentiality of consumer records and health information
• Organize and maintain consumer and department records, ensuring accuracy
• Perform filing, copying, and other administrative tasks
• Operate standard office equipment, including computers and copy machines
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Skills Required:

• Prior medical office experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills
• Proficient in keyboarding and use of office technology

Salary: $16.31/hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
