Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Sales Representative to join our team in the timber industry. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English & Spanish and possess strong communication skills, enabling them to interact with diverse clients and stakeholders. While there is no cold calling involved, the candidate must be able to interpret AutoCAD designs related to timber products, supporting the sales process by providing technical insights. The role focuses on building strong relationships with customers, offering product guidance, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and timely support.
  • Review and interpret AutoCAD designs related to timber construction projects to understand customer requirements.
  • Work closely with customers to recommend suitable timber products based on their project needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Provide detailed quotes, product recommendations, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer relationships through effective communication and attention to detail.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits or attend meetings to gather project details and enhance customer relationships as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, orders, and feedback in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, timber products, and AutoCAD developments to provide valuable insights to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish (Required).
  • Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD designs (Design skills not required).
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role in the timber, construction, or related industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with timber products and construction processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of timber construction and/or building materials.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and a multicultural clientele.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • 3+ years of sales experience with proven track record
