The Machine Repair/Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling various types of machinery and equipment according to specifications and instructions. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, proficiency with hand tools, and attention to detail to ensure that all assemblies meet the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and machinery based on detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to accurately assemble parts and systems.
• Perform routine inspections and testing of assembled machinery to ensure proper function and quality.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and techniques.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly is a plus.
• Proven experience in machine assembly or a similar role.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy components and equipment as needed.
