Express Employment Professionals of La Crosse has partnered with a bank in the Viroqua area, and we are currently recruiting for qualified candidates for a Universal Banker position!  Competitive compensation will be offered based on experience, and a generous benefits package will be offered after the probationary period.

 

Wage: starting at $15/hr

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5:30pm with an occasional Saturday half day shift 

 

Job Duties Include:

• Accurately process deposits and withdrawals for consumer and business customers.
• Process a variety of transactions but not limited to checking, savings, loan, credit card transactions, money orders, foreign currency, gift cards, etc.
• Assist in opening and closing the branch and vault daily, assist in balancing vault currency and coin, ATM balancing, performs safe deposit duties and process night deposit bags.
• Responsible for advising consumer and business customers of the various accounts, loans, and other financial products and services the bank has to offer.
• Assists customers with account maintenance, documentation and the utilization of technology and resources the bank has available.

 

Minimum Qualifications

1. HS Diploma or equivalent required.
2. Knowledge of banking products/services and have effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills preferred.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Must possess courteous and professional customer service attitude.
5. Must possess strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and Bank information.
7. Ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress that can change hourly depending on level of activity; and ability to multi-task and prioritize requests.
