Tax Preparer - $20/hour 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a  tax preparer  for a company in Maryville, TN. 

Tax Preparer Responsibilities:

  • Phone Operations
  • Help clients file their taxes and ensure the accuracy of various tax forms
  • Keep accurate and complete business records
  • File returns and pay taxes on time
  • Provide accurate information on tax returns
  • In depth tax returns
  • QuickBooks operations
  • Copying, filing, and scanning
  • Other duties as assigned 

Tax Preparer Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks + Excel
  • S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, Trusts, Estates, Inheritance, and Individuals
  • 3-5  years of tax experience in an office
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Self motivated and able to handle a fast pace environment
  • Flexibility to handle complex as well as routine tax/accounting work, requiring hands-on problem-solving abilities

Tax Preparer Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM (Tax season hours may differ - some overtime)
  • Temp-to-hire
  • Full-time 
  • Pay rate is dependent on experience
