Contract Production Planning Administrator

Are you someone with a basic administrative skillset who’s looking to put that to use on the job?  Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-known manufacturer to help them hire a Contract Production Planning Administrator to support their Manufacturing Planning Department  with production planning and purchasing.  This role is expected to last from 8 to 12 months!

The ideal candidate has proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is organized, and operates with high levels of confidentiality.

Pay:

• Pay is $19/hr
• The Planner will assist with planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of manufactured products through the complete production cycle.

 Schedule: This is first-shift, in-office role with somewhat flexible hours, though a typical schedule would be Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm or 8am-5:00pm.

Job Duties & Requirements:

• This position will work closely with production, planning, purchasing, engineering and sales to review material demand and capacity plans.
• This position works under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Planning Manager and directly supports production planning and purchasing.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Previous ERP experience is preferred
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Office setting, but will occasionally be required to be on the production floor
