Express Employment Professionals is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for our clients in Baldwin County, AL. Pay is DOE, but will range from $20-$25 an hour. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and graders.
• Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Assist in site preparation, including grading, excavation, and backfilling tasks.
• Work with project managers and site supervisors to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Participate in safety training and meetings as required.
• Coordinate with other team members and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow on-site.
• Communicate effectively to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator or in a similar role.
• Valid heavy equipment operator certification or license (as required).
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
