Position Overview: We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious CDL A Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.

Location: Meriden, New Haven, and Hartford, CT area

Compensation: $19-30/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport goods to assigned destinations in a timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any issues encountered.
• Ensure cargo is secured and complies with safety regulations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with GPS and other navigation tools.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as needed.
