Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Union, SC
Pay: $28-$32/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential problems proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Read and interpret equipment schematics and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed.
• Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance staff effectively.
• Detailed knowledge of mechanical seals, pump rebuilds, bearing replacement, gearbox replacement, and welding/fabrication.
