Position Overview: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

 

Shift Time: 6a-2:30p, Mon-Fri, overtime as needed

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including conveyor systems, pallet machines, and other manufacturing tools.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure minimal disruption to production operations.
• Repairs: Perform timely repairs on malfunctioning equipment, including replacing worn parts, repairing components, and adjusting machinery.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs, parts used, and repairs completed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Upgrades and Improvements: Assist in implementing equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills; proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial machinery, conveyor systems, and manufacturing processes; understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Abilities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including standing for extended periods and working in confined spaces.
