Express is now hiring for an Information Services Project Coordinator at an organization based out of Olympia, WA. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. The schedule will be flexible and hybrid- full time, to be determined. The salary range for this position will be $72,485-$108,729, DOE. Job Duties: The purpose of this position is to lead change management initiatives for large projects; train employees in accordance with organizational goals; and plan, organize, and oversee the implementation of primarily technology-related projects within the organization. The incumbent works with end users to ensure successful adoption of technology, including training and troubleshooting, and provides technology support for larger events.
- Coordinate with members of IS and end users to develop and deliver technology training to enable end users to meet organizational goals; coordinate the End User Group, present at staff meetings, and provide one-on-one assistance for the organization's systems and applications
- Understand organizational priorities, competing demands, and work with teams to balance long-term projects, ongoing maintenance, and emergent needs
- Create and maintain information for the technical knowledge base and frequently asked questions resources and common troubleshooting resolutions related to service desk
- Provide technological support and electronic polling expertise for conferences, events, and meetings
- Coordinate P3 governance committee and meetings, report on status of various projects
- Create and deliver technical training programs according to requirements and organizational goals
- Coordinate business process improvement projects that may require collecting data about internal/customer needs and interactions, analyzing, mapping, and documenting processes
- Coordinate with staff to assess data management needs and work with IS team members and cross-functional teams to streamline processes and/or test and implement effective solutions
- Manage and oversee project life cycle for assigned projects to include system requirements gathering; project plans, schedule; deliverables, goals, and milestones; risk tracking; project closeout and documentation
- Collaborate with management to ensure scope, goals, and deliverables of IS projects support business goals; manage project teams’ time and allocate resources to ensure milestones are met and deliverables completed
- Proactively work with teams and departments to understand project needs; support teams in developing scope, analyzing possible projects, and writing project business cases
- Provide support as needed to ensure company data is updated with the highest quality of information in a timely manner in order to fulfill the needs of the internal and external customer
- Efficiently identify and resolve project organizational issues, including issues within and between various project teams
- Conduct all duties in compliance with security policies and procedures to ensure sensitive data is properly handled and stored, and report security concerns and incidents immediately when found
- Develop and maintain documentation for various systems and ensure completion of technical documentation as needed; ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Complete other duties as assigned and self-initiated with supervisor approval
Job Requirements:
- 3 years of experience working in project management or change management
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; experience may be substituted year-for-year for academic achievement
- Project Management certification is preferred
- Proficient in using Microsoft 365 office products, proprietary software systems, and online meeting platforms
- Ability to communicate clearly with both written and spoken word, highly technical information to the internal customer that does not possess any technical knowledge
- Ability to juggle competing demands between long-term projects and emergent needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in problem solving with other people
- Knowledge of applicable standard security principals, data privacy practices and laws (including but not limited to PCI and HIPAA security requirements)
- Ability to resolve conflicting interests with effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent business management and developmental skills
- Proficient in database structures, theories, and principles
