Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Shop Helper to assist our skilled machinists and contribute to the smooth operation of our shop. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of machining processes and a willingness to learn and grow in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist machine operators in setting up and operating various machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and placement for efficient workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Help with inventory management and stock organization.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
• Basic mechanical skills and aptitude for working with tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
