We are searching for an Office Administrator to join the team of a company in Dearborn, MI. This is a long-term opportunity within a company offering career advancement!

NOTE: This position will be relocating to one of the following areas in the near future - Plymouth/Canton/West Livonia

Position: Part-TimeOffice Administrator

Compensation: Up to $25.00

Schedule: Part-time (Monday - Thursday), Onsite - 8am-2:30pm

What You'll Do:

  • Provide support to the sales team across the USA, Canada, and Mexico regions.
  • Understand the entire process from order receipt to customer delivery and payment collection.
  • Input customer orders into the ERP system.
  • Send order confirmations following the established process.
  • Forward packing lists to the logistics warehouse.
  • Monitor delivery statuses with the warehouse.
  • Assist in resolving quality and logistics issues.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers through phone calls and email.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customer needs.
  • Gather market and customer information as requested.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and other relevant data.
  • Schedule meetings for the sales manager with customers.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork and reports as requested.
  • Follow up on payment collections.
  • Support stock management according to set guidelines.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new back-office employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Must have 4+ years experience working in an office environment (REQUIRED).
  • Ability to learn and effectively use the ERP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and PDF files.
  • Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Responsive, responsible, and reliable.
