Job Summary:
The Quality Control Technician will perform standardized quality control checks on company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. The QC Technician will also use and maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Operate machinery to test parts.
• Read meters, calibration, and other test equipment.
• Inspect products according to quality and safety standards.
• Ensure goods and products comply with company standards.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
• Report quality anomalies to the supervisor.
• Collate test data and draft quality reports.
• Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Ensure production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.

 

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 – 2 years of experience preferred, but not required.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
