A local Springfield area company is searching for a Project Manager who will have core responsibilities in planning, contract creation, and jobsite coordination. The Project Manager is a vital role within the company, working directly with the production managers and Lead Project Manager on large scale projects. Our Project Manager will work independently, taking the lead on company reporting and tracking, acting as an internal resource on company software, and employee training.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Have solid understanding of construction processes and progress.
•    Read and interpret blueprints and project specs.
•    Are able to answer questions about the project from superintendents, subs, Etc – using plans and specs.
•    Submit questions to architects, engineers and owners if questions are not answerable with plans & specs.
•    Create and follow construction budgets including keeping Excel reports/tracking up to date.
•    Create, coordinate and update schedules with super, subs, owners and architects/engineers.
•    Visit jobsites – including projects on military bases requiring a clean record to gain access. (pre-construction meetings, routine progress visits, punch-walks.)
•    Takeoff and order materials.
•    Process change orders, PO’s, contracts, submittals, Etc.
•    Professionally communicate with owners on conference calls, phone calls and site visits.
•    Use ProCore & BlueBeam - prior knowledge preferred, but not required.
•    Review and approve subcontractor pay applications.
•    Assemble and submit owner pay applications.
•    Gather and assemble project closeouts including redlines, O&M’s, warranties, Etc.
•    Review daily logs & pictures to quality control the work and help supers make action plans to address issues along the way.
