Job Description: Temporary Athletic Center Front Desk Attendant

 

Pay: $20/hour

 

This is a temporary position with both full-time and part-time shifts available.

 

General Responsibilities:

• Effectively control access to the facility through positive customer engagements and club check-in policies & procedures.
• Answer phones, emails, and texts (through our onsite concierge app) regarding Athletic Center operations.
• Book reservations for daily Swim, Gym, Studio, and Youth Programs.
• Use our Point of Sale software to manage transactions.
• Facilitate check-in and check-out processes for youth programs and activities.
• Merchandise, market, and sell retail items to guests and members.
• Build relationships with members to understand their needs and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with all departments on daily activities.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures of the Athletic Center.
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as maintaining cleanliness, serving food, facilitating poolside activities, and stocking locker rooms.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/Traits:

• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong background in customer service with problem resolution abilities.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure under high-volume demands.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Enthusiastic, with a passion for helping people.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required.
• OLCC Server’s Permit and Food Handlers Permit desired.

Available Shifts:

• Opening shifts: 8am-4pm
• Closing shifts: 12pm-6pm
• Weekend coverage is needed.
