We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Precision Knife Grinder to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to hand grind industrial knives to specified dimensions and shapes using various grinding machines such as wet grinders, belt grinders, cut off saws, polishers, or auto grinders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knife Grinding:
• Precision hand grind industrial knives to specified dimensions and shapes using grinding wheels.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards in knife sharpening and finishing.
• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Set up and operate various grinding machines, including wet grinders, belt grinders, cut off saws, polishers, or auto grinders.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve desired results and ensure efficiency in operations.
• Skills and Requirements:
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with hands.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and mechanical inclination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and independently.
• Mobility requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, reaching, and bending as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Previous experience in precision grinding or knife sharpening is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating grinding machinery and tools.

Additional Requirements:

• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Flexibility to work additional hours and shifts as needed.
