Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Nashville, AR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment mechanics, fleet maintenance, and experience working with concrete plant machinery. This position requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all types of diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine necessary repairs on a variety of equipment including concrete mixers, excavators, and trucks.
Conduct routine maintenance inspections and preventative maintenance services to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Collaborate with team members to identify equipment needs and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on heavy equipment and fleet maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
Experience with concrete plant equipment is a plus.
Must have your own tools required for the job.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality work.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Full-time position with day shift hours.
Competitive pay range of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
